Partney is a small village, around 3 miles north of Spilsby in the Lincolnshire Wolds. This village was the birth place of Henry Stubbe, the noted seventeenth century thinker.

It sits on the intersection of the A16 and A158 roads with a recent bypass to cope with holiday traffic to the nearby beach resorts of Skegness, Ingoldmells and Chapel Saint Leonards. It therefore receives public transport from the connect 6 bus which runs from Lincoln to Skegness.
The Victory Hall, situated adjacent to St. Nicholas' Church, hosts a coffee morning on a Wednesday, as well as many clubs and groups. Matthew Flinders was wed in the village church (St. Nicholas')and a memorial stone stands in the graveyard to this day.
The village is home to a small Church of England aided primary school.
Until relatively recently, the village has been home to a locally famous sheep fair. An annual village summer fair is now held in its stead to raise money for local causes.
The actor Stephen Murray was born in the viilage in 1912.
